Benefits of Birth Preparation Therapy in Pooler

1. Strengthen and Protect Your Pelvic Floor
Your pelvic floor muscles support your growing baby and play a key role during labor. Strengthening them reduces pelvic pain, prevents urinary leakage, and lowers the risk of postpartum dysfunction, prolapse, and incontinence.

2. Make Labor and Delivery Smoother
Labor is physically demanding, but it doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Our therapists guide you through breathing exercises, labor positions, and pushing techniques to help make delivery more efficient and less stressful.

3. Speed Up Postpartum Recovery
Whether you deliver vaginally or via C-section, recovery is easier when you’ve prepared your body. We teach core activation, circulation-boosting movements, and breathing strategies to reduce discomfort, minimize muscle separation, and promote healing.

4. Gain Confidence and Control Over Your Birth Experience
Knowledge is power. With the right preparation, you’ll feel more confident, less anxious, and better equipped to handle labor and delivery. Our goal is to help you feel empowered and in control.

Success Stories & Testimonials

If I could give Jasmine 10 stars, I truly would. Jasmine is one of the people I owe a huge thank you to for helping me along my journey of having a vba3c. The pelvic therapy was a huge factor in me successfully giving birth to my baby girl. She made sure she listened to my concerns and she made sure that I was well prepared for birthing my baby. She is absolutely wonderful and has an amazing spirit!

Very impressed with Dr. Jasmine Polk. She is incredibly knowledgeable and very kind and encouraging. I am hopeful to make the progress I need to after having the birth of my son.

Jenna Daugherty

Dr. Polk is an amazing therapist who incorporates an array of manual therapy techniques to help you heal your pelvic floor issues & get you back to its prior functions. If you’re pregnant and are in pain you NEED to see her ASAP. I went to her twice during my recent pregnancy. My last visit with her I was in so much pain and wasn’t due for another week. I could tell my belly dropped and I wasn’t in excruciating pain after seeing her. I went into labor the next day & birthed my baby two days after I saw her. All in all, a perfectly positive experience with Dr. Polk. 10/10 recommend!
